Both long-term and general insurance business underwriters are required to submit monthly summary of claims returns to IRA through the electronic regulatory system (ERS).
These returns are submitted within 15 days from the end of the month to which they relate. At the time of preparation of Q3 2022 report, all the insurers had submitted their monthly summary of claims returns for the third quarter except:
- Xplico Insurance Company,
- Africa Merchant Assurance Company,
- Corporate Insurance Company,
- First Assurance Company,
- Invesco Assurance Company,
- Trident Insurance Company
- Kenya Orient Life Insurance Company
Their data was excluded due to non-submission for the months of July and September respectively.
